Chef Ricardo Chaneton, Upper House Hong Kong’s senior culinary adviser, is joining his two hands with those of chef Miko Calo of Taquería Franco in Manila for a collaborative taco omakase menu in mid-May.

Set for May 12, 14, and 15 at the hotel’s Chef’s Room, a new intimate dining studio seating only 10 lucky diners, the pair will be crafting a menu of four different tacos and taco-like dishes, including an abalone taco with Venezuelan sofrito and Yunnan morel taco in tarragon tortilla with mole rojo and mushroom XO sauce.

The menu assumes a Latin theme throughout, with touches of Filipino and South American ingredients and know-how featured in each taco.

If you cannot make this collaboration, there are more events expected at Chef’s Room throughout late spring and summer.
