The Laduree Afternoon Tea By Langham

If you fancy walking into a pastel coloured, flower-filled, aromatic dream world for an afternoon, The Palm Court at Langham has set the scene.

In partnering with the iconic French patissier, Ladurée show off their Marie Antoinette macarons, as well as unveil a new flavour, so you can dine like the Dauphine on three-tiers of goodies for a spot of afternoon tea.

The savoury selection (which is delightfully unlimited) includes:smoked duck breast with mango chilli jam, parma ham & tuna roulade with basil pineapple salsa, smoked trout with horseradish on pistachio bread, manchego cheese and Iberico quiche, tomato and black olive pastry and free range chicken and liver pate with fig compote.

For the sweets, you will receive the specially designed Ladurée macarons, the marie-antoinette as well as one designed in a nod to the hotel’s signature scent, with ginger flower. There are also the blueberry mousse with ladurée crystallised violets and chocolate biscuit, Grand Marnier floating island, an orange & ginger flavoured french canelé, a praline yuzu tart, a tonka bean ganache, a green tea olive oil cake with pistachio cream, a crispy raspberry and rose éclair and to top it all off, a white chocolate lollipop.

But there is more. No tea would be complete without the scones, of which this tea comes accompanied by a selection of warm plain and golden raisin scones with Devonshire clotted cream, strawberry jam and rose preserves. What’s more, while supplies last, patrons will receive a macaron gift box with their tea.
