2016 honoured a cool group of winners at this year's Foodie Forks

We partied our way through another year celebrating your choices for the top F&B establishments in this fine food city with our annual awards on May 30th. The winners got a chance to pat each other on the back for their hard work throughout the year and and we got a chance to profess our love for the delights they produce. foodpanda were our title sponsor for the awards, and InvestHK, who encourage foreign investment into Hong Kong, supported the event along with our promotion partner The Entertainer, while the lovely Giselle Lam hosted the festivities. We ate our way through the beautiful food and drink provided by our sponsors in the cool confines of HMV Bar & Restaurant in Causeway Bay.

There were scrumptious sarnies from Knead, a rich selection of both savoury and sweet mini pies from our favourite piemaker Tai Tai Pie Pies, way-too-drinkable cucumber fizz cocktails from Hanson of Sonoma vodka, authentic Cantonese seafood dishes from JPL, Korean Fried Chicken from Lee Kum Kee, and sensational small bites from the catering gurus at Invisible Kitchen.

Chocolates delighted every palate from the stylish guys behind The Artist while ice cream kept everybody cool with the kooky flavours from Emack & Bolio's. Sanpellegrino made sure everyone stayed hydrated and juiced up, and the Prosecco from Winerack added the bubbles to the celebration served up in stunning crystal Riedel wine glasses as well as the red and white wines from Jebsen Fine Wines that kept everybody cheerful, and which all the Foodie Forks winners also got to take home with them. Our guests bid on items from our silent auction with fantastic prizes kindly offered by the generous souls at Mott32, Fish School, Foxglove, Caffe Perfetto, Moet Hennessy Diageo, Chef Works and Keil Estate with all proceeds going to the wonderful Feeding HK.

Our Chefs of the Year both got to take home personalised chef whites and Birkenstock kitchen clogs to keep them suited and booted from the stylish restaurant-attire designers at Chef Works.

An amazing goodie bag filled with treats from Green Common, Lee Kum Kee, Sanpellegrino and Guilt Free Food made for a heavy bag for each of our guests to haul home, along with the memories captured by party vendor Hirely's videographer. 

It was a night that will certainly be remembered not only for those being awarded for their hard work over the past year but also for the unforgettable food, drinks and people that made the evening such a supremely delicious event. 

Thanks for all your votes that ensured those pouring their hearts into their food got a chance to be recognised for their achievements and highlighted the extraordinary energy and commitment it takes to be at the top of the food chain here in Hong Kong.
