Attention all burrito lovers: Cali-Mex have opened their very first flagship restaurant!
When most think of Cali-Mex, you think of a Californian Mexican style taqueria serving up freshly baked tortillas and quick bites full of flavour. But that won’t be the only thing you think of starting now, because your fave Mexican have opened the first ever Cali-Mex full service restaurant and bar. Planting itself in the heaving heart of 14 Granville Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, the new restaurant is more than double the size of the current largest Cali-Mex.
Cali-Mex has always been known for exceptional burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and nachos; gaining huge popularity across Hong Kong. In the new shop, they have built on the original takeaway concept and also now offer table service. The entire restaurant seats 100 in total, with a takeaway shop up front seating 30 and then a vast dine-in area at the back with family-friendly, U-shaped booth seating.
The new menu features all their regular burritos, quesadillas, tacos, salads, nachos and desserts as well as a range of fuller versions of their dishes including a grilled steak option and a sustainable fish from Vietnam and cooked to perfection on their Josper Grill.
There is also be a full cocktail bar complete with high stools for a quick after-work bevvy or an evening meeting over a brewski. On the cocktail menu is a full list of all the classics as well as offering self-serve beer taps on every table, allowing customers to pour out Hoegaarden Rosé, and Budweiser to their hearts' content.
The restaurant is available for reservations, as well as corporate events.
