Born out of a passion for high-quality food, ilBelPaese was established in 2001 and over the years years has gained an esteemed and unique reputation as a one-stop shop to discover authentic Italian food.
Since 2016, the company has been owned and managed by Italian group Casa Rinaldi, synonymous with ‘taste of Italy’ around the world, exporting to more than 100 countries. Casa Rinaldi, with its headquarters in Modena, Italy, is well known to ilBelPaese’s loyal customers, with a large selection of products branded ‘Casa Rinaldi’ regularly found on its shelves.
The company’s new direction is led by Simone Bianchi, Corporate Chef and Chief of Operations. With over 20 years’ experience at renowned hotels and restaurants around the world, Simone has created an array of new dishes to impress existing loyal customers and excite new ones. As he did in Milan and New York, Simone is keen to develop his passion for cooking at private events for guests who want top-notch cuisine in their homes or served in a private setting.
The Sheung Wan branch has just reopened its doors with a unique concept, where old meets new, with the usual grocery and takeaway area plus a bigger dine-in space for guests to enjoy the best of Italian culinary traditions. Thanks to Casa Rinaldi, all the fresh products at ilBelPaese are flown in weekly from Italy in order to always guarantee quality, freshness and uniqueness. The atmosphere of the dine-in area and bar now represents a very good option for a casual but elegant night on the town.
As a daily option for your after-work or chill-out time, ilBelPaese offers a daily happy hour (4:30–7:30pm) that gives guests the opportunity to taste new cocktails at very reasonable prices, together with a selection of delicious complimentary canapés.
Thursday evenings will be dedicated to women, with a traditional but always welcome Ladies Night that offers ladies a free glass of Prosecco and discounted prices on drinks all night long, starting at 7:30pm.
