Red Sauce Hospitality will host a trio of delicious pop-ups featuring comfort foods from Nepal, the Philippines and Pakistan, all lovingly prepared by the group's culturally diverse team.
Set to begin this week at Stone Nullah Tavern in Wan Chai, the series kicks off with a four-course family style Nepalese spread this January 9th to 11th. Expect mouth watering dishes the likes of chicken syafale, a pastry from Northern Nepal, newari honacha ko bara ra jhol, a lentil pancake with minced buffalo, egg and bone broth, as well as khasi ko ledo bedo, a hearty lamb in gravy.
From January 16th to 18th, the group's Filipino crew band together for a seven-dish feast, featuring all-stars such as pork lechon stuffed with sinigang, 24-hour slow cooked bone marrow nilaga as well as Wagyu beef tapa with picked radish and quail egg.
To round up the festivities, from January 23rd to 25th, a Pakistani menu full of flavourful dishes such as vegetarian samosa chaat, chicken karahi, and minced beef chapli kebab will be featured.
"Our Red Sauce family is such a huge part of everything we do," says Founder Todd Darling. "We pride ourselves on delivering a personal style of service and The Melting Pot [pop-up series] is an opportunity to show gratitude to those that show up and deliver that to our customers every day. So many of our regulars have developed friendships with the people behind these menus; I'm sure that our supporters are going to love the experience."
Get a taste of The Melting Pot series while they last at $388 per person. All meals are served family style for groups of two or more. There's also a free-flow drinks package on house beers, wine and spirits for $188 for two hours to make that meal extra indulgent.
