Matcha Mochi Waffles at Espuma

Image title

Mochi Waffles? Yes, you've heard right. And it satisfies everyone's favourite green-tea obsession too. Served with an almond cookie and a scoop of Movenpick ice-cream, we were pleasantly surprised by this heart-shaped treat; a chewy bite hidden beneath a crispy crunch. Perfect with the honey syrup dip, the matcha and red bean paste compliments the waffles. Match(a) made in heaven, really!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Image title

This was literally dancing in our mouths. Served on a baking pan, the chocolate chip cookie was still warm, and it WOW'd us together with the vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle. Super extraordinary for such an ordinary dessert dish.

Mango Napoleon at Sugar Dessert

Image title

This is no average napoleon, as you can see. With its hollow center, this napoleon crust never gets soggy and remains ever-so-crunchy until you devour the last bite of it. The mango pieces and sweet cream, together with a dash of icing sugar puts a twist on our favourite classic. You can find virtually every table on the restaurant ordering this, proving its popularity that makes people all over the city flock over to this faraway district.

Ruby Diamond at Patisserie Tony Wong

Image title

Look at that! It takes as much effort to start as well as to forget about this dish. You wouldn't know the contents of this Ruby Diamond until you cut its almond sugar crust open: this milk chocolate piece sports a caramelised hazelnut cream filling, and in the center you will find hazelnut pieces to add texture into this luxurious experience.

Injeolmi Red Bean Snow Ice at Hanbing Dessert

Image title

A new emerging favourite, we boost Hanbing's already growing fanclub as we crave for more. Initially overwhelmed by its strong peanut butter flavour, we scoop into its soya powder and enjoy the milky flavoured shaved ice, which was so fine and smooth and we savoured every spoon of this sweet.

Le Défi at La Crêperie

Image title

Get your french on! We confess to our continuous caramel cravings - and crawled up to La Crêperie for salvation. With its own Facebook page, the dish is certainly on par with our expectations; a triple caramel delight. Though a bit on the sweet side, we have no complaints as we bite into the caramelised bananas and caramel ice-cream, on top of the perfectly textured crêpe. Little did we know that the ice-cream had tiny caramel crunches inside - that was definitely the cherry on top.
