For all that talk of the world becoming small, how refreshing to discover that it's full of surprises, after all. There are places still unexplored, faces still unfamiliar, customs still unusual and feelings still unknown.
In collaboration with The Economist, we will be hosting a Food for Thought Explorer Event of the up and coming Sai Ying Pun neighbourhood on Sat, 11th July. 20 merchant partners in the area will be bringing their best foot forward to offer thoughtful dishes, drinks and goodies to stimulate your mind and foodie senses.
The idea is to come with your ticket, exchange for $360-worth of "Thought Dollars" at one of the four checkpoints (Cali-Mex, Locofama, La Viola or SpiceBox Organics), wander around all the delicious venues, and walk home plump and awaiting The Economist subscription.
Click here for a sneak peek of what you can exchange for using Thought Dollars. Or, purchase your tickets now and join us to takeover the 'hood, one thoughtful bite at a time. (For a limited time, you can top up the ticket for $38 and receive a one-month subscription of The Economist and receive their Megachange book (worth $370) at the event. )
