[2013] Foodie Forks Tidbit: Passion Ignites in Central

We Foodies can always sniff out the best food, and two years ago we handpicked Passion by Gerard Dubois as our favourite bakery for our Foodie Forks awards.  Two years onwards, the French patisserie, confiserie and boulangerie has expanded to Central with its third branch in Hong Kong due to popular demand. 

The newest addition to Swiss-born pastry chef Gerard Dubois’ tantalising gourmet arsenal, the Lyndhurst Terrace branch serves up a rich variety of baked goods, confectionary, sandwiches, salads and hot meals. Fluffy, buttery croissants sedate breakfast appetites while refreshing salads and gourmet sandwiches such as brie and turkey served over crusty house-baked sourdough appease the lunch crowd. Bubbling Le Creuset pots of French comfort foods such as lamb stew, coq au vin, and slow-cooked pork shank satisfy more substantial dinner appetites. 

And for that extra little bit of indulgence, there is afternoon tea with more than 18 flavours of macarons to choose from, or freshly baked Mont Blanc and mixed berry tunnels. The toughest part of the day might just be choosing which treat to indulge in!
