Where to Eat the Beyond Burger in Hong Kong

Green Common

With its wide variety of Beyond Meat dishes, numerous convenient locations and stellar prices, Green Common is at the top of our list of places to visit. It offers three Beyond Burger variations including its current speciailty: the Beyond Burger Teriyaki ($88), with teriyaki sauce, aubergine, bean sprouts and frisée. You can also get other Beyond Classic Burgers (from $78). Lastly, GC offers a unique twist with the Beyond Meat on Toast ($50). If you’re looking for a wide variety of Beyond Meat options, Green Common should be your first stop.

Coming Soon: Beyond Meat Aussie Minced Pies

Tai Tai Pie Pies are teaming up with Green Common to release their first vegan pies. They are also planning on using omnipork to create a ‘Divine Kimchi Omnipork Pie’ (note the kimchi is not vegan). Both the ‘Perfect 10 Vegetarian Curry Pie’ and ‘Tofu Shepherd’s Pie’ have been on their line up for a number of years.

Confusion Plant Based Kitchen

The Beyond Sausage is finally here in Hong Kong at Confusion! Bangers & Mash with onion and red wine gravy sounds like a MUST TRY.

The Beyond Burger is also available for $155, served on a toasted, rye sourdough bun with rucola, purple onion, tomato, dijon, active ferment purple sauerkraut, 100% natural, in-house fermented ketchup, vegan garlic mayo and vegan cheddar.

Confusion also serves JUST vegan egg tarts (!!!), Omnipork and Impossible when in stock.

Ruby Tuesday

Family-friendly Ruby Tuesday’s classic Beyond Burger ($99 for Ruby Tuesday members; $198 for non-members) features hearty portobello mushroom and garlic sauce. If you’re a fungi fan, you know where to head.

Grassroots Pantry

Veggie stalwart Grassroots Pantry launched some scrumptious Beyond Meat dishes on its menu last autumn. These include the virtuous kelp and mung-bean noodle soup ($138), made with Beyond Meat(balls).

The Butchers Club Burger

Legendary The Butchers Club Burger has its own version of the Beyond Burger, which the restaurant refers to as the Beyond Classic ($120). Get ready for a delicious vegan patty, vegan Cheddar cheese, burger sauce made with vegan mayo, pickled beetroot crisps, tomato and dill pickle – all on a fluffy buttermilk bun.

Porterhouse

Now, if you’re looking for a fancy-pants burger, the Beyond Burger ($168) at Porterhouse comes with guacamole, dairy-fee cheese, gherkins and smoked paprika, all sandwiched in a brioche bun. It can be included in a lunch set ($248 for 2 courses; $288 for 3 courses) for quite the afternoon deal. Porterhouse also serves a vegan Impossible Burger – perhaps a side-by-side taste test is in order!

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong

For the most luxurious Beyond Burger in Hong Kong, The Ritz-Carlton is the place to be. The hotel has introduced “An Ultimate Vegan Luxury – The Beyond Burger” ($265). This is a Beyond Meat patty on a linseed bun with kale-cashew pesto, beetroot hummus, avocado dip and red onion and balsamic marmalade, served with quinoa, organic mixed green salad and sweet potato fries. Wowsers!

Délifrance & alfafa

Délifrance and sister restaurant alfafa have recently launched their own limited-time Beyond Burger ($109 for 2-course meal; $119 for 3-course meal), available until 12 September 2018. Expect fresh ingredients including avocado, tomato, butter lettuce, cucumber and mustard sauce. Make sure to catch this deal while you can!

Pizza Express

Pizza Express has made it to just about everywhere in Hong Kong, so the pizza chain’s inclusion of Beyond Chicken options on its ever-expanding menu is a huge win for eco-conscious diners. There’s kale pesto Beyond rigatoni ($138) and Beyond Chicken kale and pesto pizza ($138) up for grabs.
