Looking to eat some free food? Well, lucky for you, Café on the PARK and Satay Inn are hosting the 30 Scoops of Ice Cream Challenge and Taste of Singapore Challenge to mark the 30th anniversary of The Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers in TST, where the eateries are situated.
Café on the PARK: 30 Scoops of Ice Cream Challenge
Each contestant will be presented with 30 scoops of Mövenpick ice cream (including selected toppings) and given 30 minutes to devour it all. If you’re able to finish the ice cream within 30 minutes, it’s free! If not, you get the ice cream at half price ($300; original price $600).
Available from now until 14 October 2018, every Saturday and Sunday, 3–6pm
Satay Inn: Taste of Singapore Challenge
Similarly, the Taste of Singapore Challenge offers 30 kinds of Singaporean delights including satay, Hokkien popiah, pandan kaya toast, fried carrot cake and Singaporean chilli crab with deep-fried Chinese buns, as well as a 30-ounce pandan milkshake. If you’re able to complete the challenge within 30 minutes, the meal is free! If not, you will be charged at half price ($300; original price $600).
Available from now until 12 October 2018, every day except Friday, 5–7pm
