Kobab & Koshi

Kobab & Koshi

Contrary to its name, Kobab & Koshi sells neither Korean style kebabs nor sushi (confusing we know).

If you are ever in Lan Kwai in the wee unsightly hours of the morning hoping to get a fix of some oily doner kebabs, you will have to look elsewhere. If you’re looking for some comforting burgers with a Korean twist however, then this is your place. These meaty little numbers come wrapped in sizeable buns with slices of bacon, cheese and a spicy house Korean sauce to make it a strong contender in the ever-growing burger scene in Hong Kong. We recently tried their burgers for lunch and found the patties cooked to well-done and full of flavour, of course the pumping music at 1pm was a great addition and got us in the mood for all the greasy, yet good, food.

Korritos

Other options include their chilli beef cheese fries that come with a generous serving of melted cheese and their Korritos (yes, that means Korean burritos) are jam-packed with rice and kimchi with a choice of beef, pork and chicken fillings. Their spicy chicken are for the chilli addicts and will certainly sober up any inebriated souls in the dead of night – it’s safe to say that it’s best eaten with caution. Lighter choices also include pasta salads, literally spaghetti mixed in with salad and coated with wasabi dressing.
