The popular eatery in L Place will be undergoing a new transformation starting from this July 19th for 5 days, and the new interior will be as equally enticing as their revamped menu. Mano’s new menu is created by the restaurant’s new chef and partner, Frederic Chabbert, who was, until recently, the executive chef of Petrus in the Shangri-la. Chef Chabbert started his culinary career at the Professional Cooking School of Souillac, and honed his skills at notable Michelin-starred kitchens such as Le Cerf, Lacave, Le Roussillion, and Le Louis XV across Europe before arriving in Hong Kong.
The Deets: We love the refreshing watermelon and coriander salad, a perfect cool-me-down during Hong Kong’s humid summers. The hearty kimichi fried rice and sticky sweet roast chicken are guaranteed to satisfy without overwhelming the waistline. We are also looking forward to sipping some coffee cocktails created by Mano’s new coffee specialist, Courtney Dettrich. The coffee daiquiri sounds sublime!
