1pm–9pm at Opendoor Cafe + Courtyard
We're excited to have a great line up for our Foodie Market in 18 April. Along with all the hot & cold food stalls, there'll be live music, an art jamming corner, cooking demos and wine tastings throughout the day. Whether you're a foodie hoping to get educated with demos from Nutrition Nation and Invisible Kitchen or just want to pick up some tasty items from a whole heap of food experts, we have something for every hungry soul out there.
For those looking for indulgent treats, 3/3rds will be dishing up their famous grilled cheese sandwiches, there will be some beastly good lunches from Bread & Beast and Tai Tai Pie Pies will be ready and waiting for you to get your pie on. Delight yourself with a wine and cheese pairing with Buonissimo before grabbing some sweets from Sunday Bakeday and Papabubble. If you get thirsty, there'll be plenty of TeaCha and Porch Coffee along with craft beer from Craftissimo and Purple 9 Wines.
Live Music Line Up
From 6pm–9pm, we'll have a line up of talented musicians playing in the courtyard. We're excited to showcase some real talent here and just want to share the love over great food and drink, so come along, grab a drink with us and enjoy the music!
The Soul Proprietors (SoulPros) are a Hong Kong-based group of like-minded entrepreneurs with an eclectic mix of musical experiences and styles. Their performances range from fusion pop/rock and alternative originals to jazzed-up and blues funk covers - and they throw in a few impromptu improvisational jams from time to time!
Adrian Lo is a Hong-Kong-born artist recently returned from England.
His music is heavily influenced by the likes of Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, and James Blake, with original lyrics depicting his experiences of the ever-changing urban Hong Kong.
He will be playing a solo acoustic set of original songs from his upcoming EP titled Absentee
Arun Govada is a singer, songwriter and comedian, in no particular order, except that he started singing first. He's opened for YouTube Sensation Clara C and has competed in competitions from Hong Kong to USA. Most recently Arun performed as a guest artist on Taiwan Super Idol singing in Mandarin, and released an original single on iTunes called "Super Star Wish".
Esimorp is a group of artists from Atlanta, Georgia in the US which began as a music project between friends, pursuing beauty, excellence and the admirable, all of which they intend to expose through music. With influences from Mumford and Sons, Daughter and Woodkid, we expect a blend of folk and ambient sounds that will leave us with our heads in the clouds and our feet on the ground.
Our headliner for the evening is a group of talented artists from a community of musicians who are passionate about street performance. Take a stroll down Times Square on a weeknight and be overwhelmed by the talent from The Flame. Their aim is to enhance the artistic atmosphere of public space by providing quality interactive music performances - their passion is encouraging people to communicate and express themselves through music.
We cannot wait to hear this line up of talent over a few beers in the courtyard. Keep thy eyes peeled for other activities that we have happening throughout the day too!
