The brainchild of Hong Kong-Australian oenologist Eddie McDougall, the Flying Winemaker’s got a killer concept – part wine shop, part wine bar, part Wine Skool. The ground-floor shop stocks more than 300 wine labels from around the world, and upstairs is where Eddie himself leads cheeky TongueExplorer and other wine-tasting workshops. When there are no classes scheduled (and on weekends), the upstairs space becomes a popular wine bar – with a (very) happy hour daily between 3–8pm. Get in now before The Flying Winemaker TV series launches later this year (or so we’ve been told).
