The new California Tower, in Lan Kwai Fong, has a whole host of great restaurants just waiting to open their doors this summer and all of which we are eager to try. One of their first residents to launch is Ore-no Kappou by Ginza Okamoto, a modern Japanese restaurant serving a mixture of hot and cold foods from sashimi to tempura to grilled meat and lobster.
We'll be getting an exclusive menu with Foodie Club on 27 May where our foodies will get the full tasting experience. There'll be no restraint on luxury here, with the six course dinner and sake pairing as Ore-no shows off their signature dishes. The lobster comes with a generous layer of sea urchin sauce and the Wagyu beef, grilled on a Mt. Fuji lava stone, captures the oft under-utilised power of active volcanic rocks.
