In celebration of Spanish hotspot FoFo by el Willy’s 4th anniversary in Hong Kong, Chef Willy Trullás Moreno (el Willy himself) from Shanghai and HK Head Chef Alex Fargas will be hosting a one-night-only Latin American-inspired dinner on 11 March

Chefs Moreno and Fargas will be turning up the heat in FoFo’s kitchen on Tuesday, 11 March with their “Hot and Sexy” Latin American dinner menu. Priced at an exceedingly good-value $580 per person, the menu presents eight courses of traditional Latin American flavours tinged with a touch of the chefs’ Spanish roots:

Kingfish ceviche with coconut and amaranth
***
Scallop tiradito with pear and passion fruit
***
Peruvian shrimp chowder
***
Palm heart salad, strawberries and crispy corn
***
Tacos de cochinita pibil: artichoke- and bitter-orange-marinated pork tacos with home-made guacamole and jalapeño chilli
***
Sea bass with green mole sauce, roasted tomatillo and spicy relish
***
Argentinian beef rib-eye, fresh herb chimichurri sauce, roasted baby potatoes and shallots
***
Latin cookie filled with bitter chocolate, served with salted caramel ice cream

To wet your whistle, FoFo sommelier Vincent Chue has crafted a list of Latin tipples ($90–120). Available from 10 until 16 March, Vincent’s cocktails range from the tropical Batida Rosa (cachaca, pineapple, lemon, grenadine and soda) to a classic pisco sour. Tip: head to FoFo’s rooftop terrace for a little pre-dinner indulging.
