The Walrus

From the wowing women who brought us The Woods (the Foodie Forks winners of best new bar for 2015), The Walrus, like The Woods, is focused on freshness and seasonality. Only this time it's pertaining to seafood! Oysters in particular. In addition to a rotating selection of fresh oysters, there will be new ways of enjoying them–such as with special sauces and toppings and cooked with different methods.

Also key is the drink element (obviously)–pairing the food with an all-new series of bottled cocktails from The Woods, wine, and beer.

Soft Opens: End of June

Bridges St next to Little Bao and above PMQ

Da Via

Da Via is a new Italian food destination in Hong Kong. Emporio del Gusto is on a mission to change the way Hong Kong foodies connect with their food. Drawing inspiration from rural Italy and from the heart of traditional family dining, the group’s new Italian food destination Da Via, opens its doors early June in the heart of dynamic Wan Chai and neighbour to Pacific Place 3.

Soft Opens: Beginning of June

Mana Cafe

Brunch, books and coffee is what the box says, and we are thus recommending it to EVERYONE we know. The winners of best healthy eats this year at the Foodie Forks, Mana! are going to be opening another newbie in the wake of their most recent opening, Mana Raw! This one will be a hybrid of the two former establishments, Mana! Fast Slow Food & Mana! Raw. It will feature a new exciting concept of open flat bread with artisanal style breads; an exciting new food to cater to the ever-expanding Hong Kong market.

Soft Opens: Middle of June

Pound Lane, Sheung Wan
