Chef Willy Trullas Moreno needs no introduction. He was recently awarded the title of ‘Best Chef in Shanghai’ by City Weekend Magazine as well as being named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Spaniards living overseas. He is a renowned culinary genius who always looks for fun and creative collaborations and is the owner of an ever-growing food and beverage empire, which includes el Willy, FoFo by el Willy, el Coctel, elefante and BIKINI in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
This month, chef Willy along with FoFo by el Willy’s head chef Alex Fargas will be hosting a 2-night only pop-up experience at FoFo on 9 and 10 July to showcase his soon-to-openmodern tapas bar, Tomatito, from Shanghai.

The Tomatito pop-up a la carte menu will start with a selection of tapas including Paletilla (premium Iberian acorn fed ham shoulder, $240), followed byRotos (broken fried eggs with baby squid & Iberian ham, $158), the Lechazo (Spanish baby lamb with roasted potatoes and padron peppers, $488), the ceviche de lubina (seabass ceviche, $118) and finally their signature paella Valenciana (traditional dry paella with meat and broad beans, $328).
Guests will also be able to sample tasty cocktails from award-winning cocktail bar, el Coctel in Shanghai by bar manager extraordinaire, Johan Holmbergwho will be flying out to Hong Kong especially for the pop-up event.
