Soho-based neighbourhood steakhouse La Vache!, of the Black Sheep Restaurants group, is ringing in Bastille Day this year with a free-flow brunch offering of unlimited steak frites and piscine – fine French bubbles served on ice and garnished with fresh mint. The brunch, which will take place on Sunday, 12 July begins at noon and continues on until 3:30 pm.
The brunch starts with La Vache!’s signature house-made French baguette with Normandy butter. An organic salad of crisp lettuce, radishes and walnuts follows for a clean, healthy fix. This comes just before the main event of the day – USDA prime rib-eye steak served with frites, both of which will be available in unlimited qualities to celebrate the French national holiday.
To end things off sweetly, Authentique French Tartes aux Fraises, a delightful strawberry pastry, will wrap up the spread and have you leaving with your bellies full and spirits high.
The free-flow brunch offering is HK$398, which incudes free-flow piscine, house wine and beer, plus unlimited steak frites and dessert. Non-drinkers can enjoy the unlimited steak frites and dessert for $278.
Paying homage to the spirit of old Parisian brasseries and vintage Motown funk, La Vache! promises a once-a-year free-flow brunch experience that’s not to be missed.
