Cock-a-doodle-brew, some exciting news for the craft beer enthusiasts among you. A new local brewery Fat Rooster Brewing Co. is officially launching its two headliners in bars and restaurants across Hong Kong. Hatched with a mission to create fresh, artisanal and small batches of unpasteurized ales and lagers, Fat Rooster Brewing Co. uses only the best ingredients in its craft.

Fat Rooster Brewing Co’s two beers, Fat Rooster Hong Kong IPA and Fat Rooster Brown Ale, are now on tap all year round, a great way to ring in the hot Hong Kong summer.

The Fat Rooster Hong Kong IPA is a light golden ale with a full hop bitterness. Its powerful citrusy and flowery flavors in this medium-bodied beer complement its malt and hoppy profile.

The Fat Rooster Brown Ale is a dark copper with subtle notes of flower and spice. The body is medium to medium full, and the malty flavor lasts deep into its aftertaste.

Beer lovers can give them a try at The Langham Place Hotel, Rockabilly, Smokey Joes and Coyote among others, with the list ever expanding courtesy of distributor Liquid Assets. Besides these two headliners, watch out for limited and seasonal releases throughout the year as well.

Proudly born and brewed in Hong Kong, Fat Rooster Brewing Co. embodies its local spirit in its name. Fat Rooster takes on the characteristics of the rooster, one of the twelve Chinese zodiacs, as a strong, courageous trailblazer in the local craft beer scene.
