Emporio del Gusto is on a mission to change the way Hong Kong foodies connect with their food. Drawing inspiration from rural Italy and from the heart of traditional family dining, the group’s new Italian food destination Da Via, has just opened its doors in the heart of dynamic Wan Chai.
Founded by a charming duo of Walter Kern (current president of Slow Food HK) and hosted by Alejandro Vaglietti (graduate of the University of Gastronomic Studies), the pair couple years of expertise and passion to embraces the slow food philosophy of providing good quality Italian gastronomy with integrity. Trust us, these guys know what they're talking about when it comes to great food.
What: Join us for an authentic Italian gastronomic experience on 30 June where the Da Via family will take us through a culinary journey of fresh handmade pasta, rich flavourful risotto and something sweet to end the evening the right way. Dishes will be paired with individually selected Italian wines by the charming sommelier and the wonderful culinary host will tell stories of the origins of the dishes and reminisce about eating over an Italian table with his Nonna.
