Spanish restaurant Vasco at PMQ is welcoming renowned chef David Garcia for two nights of contemporary Basque fine dining. Here and set to cook up a storm on the 28th and 29th of August, Chef Garcia will be offering up a specially designed menu for you to get a taste of his unique brand of Basque-style cooking.
Although young, Chef Garcia has already accumulated years of experience under his belt. The head of Michelin-starred Madrid restaurant, Álbora, he has also worked alongside Spanish culinary greats such as Martin Berasategui, who personally trained all of Vasco’s chefs.
For these two nights exclusively, Garcia has curated a menu based solely on the season’s very best. His emphasis on starting with quality ingredients – slow, organic and local when possible – is clear with every dish.
Highlights of the menu include the squid tallarines with a touch of spice in a chipiron broth and the roast suckling lamb shoulder and creamy polenta with Jerez essence. Indulge in all this and more at $1780, which includes a glass of champagne upon arrival.
