Singapore, Hong Kong’s neighbour to the east, is turning a whopping 50 this year. In the past half-century, this feisty Asian tiger has gone from a tiny fishing port to what CNN deems as the top city – and the food capital – of the world today.
To celebrate the occasion, PICCOLO Pizzeria & Bar is doing a 50% off on all pizzas on August 9, Singapore National’s Day. There is not a bunch of correlation between pizza and Singapore, but we know the owner of Piccolo is from the foodie city, and so obviously uses his powers for good and wanted to give the good people of Hong Kong a lot of pizza.
