  • 500ml milk
  • 75ml cherry liqueur (such as Cherry Heering)
  • 75ml cognac (such as VSOP Hennessy)
  • 100g organic / fair trade dark chocolate (70%)


  1. Warm milk over very low heat for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add squares of chocolate to warming milk.
  3. Stir continually for 5–7 minutes until chocolate has melted into milk.
  4. Pour cherry liqueur and cognac into desired cups, stir and top with marshmallows.
