Macaroni and cheese will always be known as an iconic American staple. To celebrate this popular dish, five of Hong Kong’s renowned chefs and restaurants are participating in the “The Mac Attack” from January 25th to February 29th 2016 in search of the best mac ‘n’ cheese in town.

The five contenders are: Chef Billy Otis from Lily & Bloom, Chef May Chow from Little Bao, Chef Fabrizio Napolitano from NOM (Not Only Meatballs), Chef Satoru Mukogawa from Tiger Curry and Chef Vinny Lauria from Stone Nullah Tavern. Each chef has created a special mac ‘n’ cheese dish (each priced at HK$188) for this cook out to claim two awards—the dish with highest sales during the promotion period and the dish with the most pictures on social media with #theMacAttack. The prize? 10% of the proceeds generated from the promotion will be donated to charities of the winners’ choice.
