PDT (Please Don’t Tell) was nothing short of fascinating during its one month pop up here in the Pearl of the Orient. We loved the drinks, the hot dogs, the concept behind the bar and pretty much everything in between.

But apparently there are even more reasons to love PDT and its host, Landmark Mandarin Oriental. For every hot dog sold at PDT, Landmark Mandarin Oriental donated $10 to Feeding Hong Kong, a registered charity that collects quality food that would otherwise go to waste, processes it and redistributes it to organizations that fight hunger. Landmark raised $17,970 throughout the period which adds up to 3,594 meals for the needy.

Donation to Feeding Hong Kong

A great idea backed by a great cause. Donating a portion of earnings to fight hunger is a great way to give back to the community. We hope that more restaurants will follow suit.
