Our Foodie Club party at MOYO this month will involve a heck of a lot of soju, a tasting of six to seven types to be precise, and plenty of fried chicken, kimchi bruschetta and ricotta grilled corn, market chips and a selection of house made kimchi to soak up the hard liquor.
Started by a couple of Italian-born Koreans, MOYO serves a variety of tapas that pay homage to the unique upbringing of the owners. The small space right across from PMQ on Aberdeen Street is minimalistic with a bar stocked full of sought-after soju shipped in directly from Korea. Owner Francesco will be on hand to explain about their soju and will offer a flight of six or seven varieties to try and compare. To soak up the liquor, we'll also be trying a selection from their Italian Korean inspired menu so expect to be surprised and wowed with their unique flavours.
Bring a group of friends or come alone and meet new ones and enjoy a soju tasting with food from 7pm–9pm.
