No longer solely the district of the late, late party (although it is still an area that never sleeps) there are hundreds of reasons to visit before the witching hour, and for us, that begins and ends with delicious dining options. By no means exhaustive - due to the sheer brilliance of the Wanchai dining scene - we’ve had to focus on a main dining area, which we plan to expand on in our forum afoodieworld.com, but we aim to bring you as many of the options as we can fit within these mouth-watering pages.
Here, you will see the core area stretching from Star Street, down Johnston Road, including some of the offshoots, and halting down at Hennessy Road. It should come as no surprise that there is a huge selection of wonderful places to eat here in the wanch. The district has changed mightily over the past decade and we’ve only highlighted some of the best places (big and small) to tempt your taste buds.
So read on for our recommendations for a mix of favourites from the down and dirty to the top-tier treats. Get wandering!
