Feeding Hong Kong is a charity aimed to fight hunger and to reduce food wastage, as well as raising awareness about poverty and food insecurity. The organization also emphasises healthy eating and nutritional education to the most vulnerable groups in the community. The organisation is hugely important to supporting the larger food security community, and they've released a cookbook to spread awareness and raise money.
If you love to cook, but are always pressed for time, then you might like Feeding Hong Kong’s new cookbook, “Fast Food”. The book details nutritious dishes that can be made in less than 30 minutes for a smaller budgets of $10 per portion–perfect for those living in this fast-paced city.
Learn how Gregoire Michaud from Bread Elements, Lakshmi Harilela from Love True Food and Michelin-starred Tom Aikens contributed to this cookbook. The book is available for purchase at $200, and the proceeds will go to the “Chefs in the Community” program, which provides Feeding Hong Kong’s charity partners with cooking and nutrition knowledge.
