The Continental, famed for its beautiful interior, has reopened with a revamped design along with a brand-new dining experience.
The new floor plan appears more versatile than before, adding a semi-private dining area and an extended lounge area while retaining its signature patio area, now equipped with a portable bar and DJ booth – all decked out in an emerald green and chestnut brown colour scheme.
The revamp also includes bringing new executive chef Joey Sergentakis (formerly of Café Gray Deluxe and Mr & Mrs Fox) on board, who takes with him a menu boasting refreshing salads, creative seafood dishes, choice meats, artisanal cheeses and charcuterie and sinfully delicious desserts. One of the highlights is a six-course tasting menu that changes seasonally. The portable bar also houses a much more extensive drinks list than before, including wines and whiskies by the glass and, for the more adventurous souls, traditional absinthe cocktails.
