MOMOJEIN is celebrating their first birthday on 28th September with soju cocktails and a highlight of their best dishes of the year.

A little under a year ago, MOMOJEIN graced the Hong Kong dining scene with their beautiful space on QRE Plaza to open a contemporary casual restaurant with a full team of experts flown in straight from Korea. Leading the team is celebrity chef Lim Hee Won, an experienced chef who has spent over 10 years in the industry and has been featured and crowned as one of the top star chefs featured on Korean cooking shows. Good looks and a down-to-earth nature have earned him a sizeable group of enthusiastic supporters back in Korea and his fangirl team has now extended to Hong Kong.

MOMOJEIN'S signature kalbi hotteok

Dishes that have stuck in our minds and keep us going back are their prime ribs in secret BBQ sauce, country fried chicken and their kalbi hotteok which is a delicious mix of minced beef deep fried in a sweet patty.

Now they're turning one and inviting you to geon bae with them over a selection of Moonbae Sool soju cocktails. As far as we know it, they're the only place in Hong Kong stocking this sought-after soju. They'll also be rolling out food with a selection of their best sellers on their menu.

The menu on the night will feature:

  • Portobello meatball with tofu cream
  • Korean Cheung Fun
  • Dakgangjeong (fried chicken)

  • Grilled squid

With drinks including wine, mocktails and the following:
