Ooh, we really, really like the sound of this one.
A contender for HK’s most stylish all-day-dining hotel restaurant, light and airy The Place is launching a cheese-themed buffet, available at lunch and dinnertimes from 1 October until 30 November 2016. Cheese-tastic delights abound, with highlights of raclette and pasta (or risotto) cooked in a whole Parmesan wheel. Other cheesy offerings we can’t wait to sink our chops into include four-cheese baked lobster, deep-fried Kurobuta pork cutlet stuffed with cheese, poutine, mac ’n’ cheese and even palak paneer (paneer is a soft Indian cheese). For dessert, cheesecake is the star of this show, from classic New York style to a phenomenal-sounding cheesecake/apple crumble combo.
