If you’re already a fan of the fun and flavourful dim sum at Yum Cha, you won’t need any convincing to skip over to one of their two locations to try out the exclusive, limited-time Foodie menu. If, however, you haven’t yet been to this contemporary Chinese restaurant where all the cool kids are chowing down, you need to know that they serve up traditional Cantonese food with a modern twist. This is the place that’s been filling up many an Instagram feed with its signature piggy buns, baked pineapple bird puffs served in a birdcage and wild-eyed colourful custard buns. These cutesy dishes are made up of only the freshest seasonal ingredients, with no MSG added. Yum Cha also boasts urban views and a comfy, stylish vibe.

Until 27 November, in collaboration with Foodie, Yum Cha is offering a tasting menu at its Central location from Monday to Sunday from 6–10:30pm and at its TST branch on Monday to Friday lunchtimes from 11:30am–3pm: all for only $200 per person. Imagine these dishes appearing in front of your eyes: crispy wontons, crab roe and pork dumplings, balsamic chicken wings, rice in wild mushroom soup, molten custard buns. Convinced?
