Fashion Walk presents a weekend gourmet market, celebrity chef demonstrations, dining deals and tasting menus in this exciting new culinary extravaganza



This month, Fashion Walk kicks off The YUM Factors at Food Street with restaurants joining up to promote their culinary skills under various themes and dazzle diners with local and international celebrity chef demonstrations, thematic menus and a weekend gourmet market, as well as offering exclusive dining deals and discounts.


Gourmet Market

On weekends from 1 March to 7 May, Food Street at Fashion Walk will host The YUM Weekend Gourmet Market featuring an eclectic selection of food stalls offering exquisite foods from all over the world. The first theme for March will showcase delights from the ocean, followed by sweet delicacies in April and wine and cheese in May, guiding shoppers in an indulgent, epicurean journey. Admission is free of charge.

Celebrity Chefs

Also on the menu, The YUM Celebrity Chef Cooking Demonstrations feature chefs from Hong Kong and Australia firing up their pans for a fascinating presentation of cooking prowess. Celebrated chefs Kris Bunder and Ben Milbourne from Australia inspire home cooks with the tastes of the land down under, while local celebrity chef Jade Lui, blogger/lawyer Keith Lee and restaurateur/actor Stefan Wong share their own top tips and techniques. And with appetites thoroughly whetted, shoppers can graze on the tasty delights of the special monthly tasting menus prepared by participating restaurants at Food Street.

Ben Milbourne


Ben Milbourne is a recognised television personality known for his time on MasterChef and as the host of Ben’s Menu, Tasting Tasmania, Andy and Ben Eat the World and his new show, Food Lab by Ben Milbourne. He shows audiences the techniques behind his unique dish mussels with wakame ocean gin.

Kris Bunder


Kris Bunder is the chef and owner of Del Giorno’s in Australia and is dedicated to sourcing produce local to the Eyre Peninsula and Australia. He wows the crowd with his bluefin tuna and hiramasa (kingfish) ceviche with lemon and paprika aioli.

Tasting Menus

Coast Seafood & GrillCOEDO Taproom, King Ludwig BeerhallMarbling and Wildfire will offer special tasting menus for each month's theme. During 1–31 March, the themed tasting menus place the spotlight on delights from the ocean, with seafood and shellfish aplenty. Stay tuned for more tempting tasting menus in the months ahead.

Dining Deals

To provide diners with an all-encompassing experience of The YUM Factors campaign, Fashion Walk is expanding its All-Day-Dining Card recruitment to benefit more diners and shoppers. Those who spend a specified amount at Fashion Walk during the promotion period will be able to apply for the All-Day-Dining Card, which entitles them to exclusive dining privileges. Customers are entitled to redeem a range of gifts upon a specified spending amount during the designated period. In addition, from 1 April to 7 May  2017, those spending with The Platinum Card® or American Express® Platinum Credit Card at participating restaurants can enjoy exclusive offers.
