As many culinary aficionados will know, elBulli, the world's most famous three-Michelin-starred restaurant, which was named The World's Best Restaurant five times over, had quite a special chef at its helm. That chef is Ferran Adrià, who was himself deemed Chef of the Decade. What may not be quite so well known is that his talents also extend to creating the world's first gastronomic beer, crafted specifically to pair with haute cuisine. This incredibly unique and delicious beer is now available as part of a gastronomy tour around Hong Kong to highlight the incredible flavours of Inedit Damm.

From now until 5 April 2017, visit any of the participating restaurants below and enjoy a tasting menu with a complimentary bottle of Inedit Damm gastronomic beer (750ml) for only $288 for two.

The History of Inedit Damm

Inedit Damm was created by Ferran Adrià in 2008 to fill the need for a premium gastronomic beer to accompany a fine dining meal. Along with Chef Adrià's sommelier team and in partnership with Estrella Damm, the oldest and most famous beer brand in Spain, comes Inedit Damm, a skilfully brewed blend of traditional lager and German-style weissbier.

Inedit means 'never been done before' and is a coupage of barley malt and wheat flavoured with coriander, orange peel and liquorice. Uniquely brewed to create high intensity and aromatic complexity, with floral notes containing hints of citrus and spice, causing a creamy and fresh texture, soft volume and delicate carbonic effect, the soft, full body leaves a long aftertaste and pleasant memory. It should be served chilled in a white-wine glass to deliver the best taste.
