Guest chefs and pop-ups seem commonplace in Hong Kong nowadays, but this is one we’re really excited about.
Celebrated British chef Richard Turner of London’s beloved steakhouse Hawksmoor – as well as other meat-centric dining interests including Meatopia, a carnivorous street festival, and Pitt Cue, an eatery specialising in wood-smoked meats – will be grilling up a storm alongside Nate Turner at Rhoda next week, with a nine-course dinner menu on Wednesday and Thursday, 5 and 6 April 2017.
The chefs have crossed paths in the past – Chef Green was head chef at Chef Turner’s pub The Old Bear in Surrey – and both share a love of cooking over charcoal. The nine-course collaborative menu features some of the world’s finest beef as well as sustainably sourced seafood and seasonal veggies from local farms. Highlights include baked oysters with bone marrow jus, chopped steak with olive oil and lemon, roast scallops with fennel butter, charcoal-grilled Tomahawk steak and mashed potato with trotter. The dinner is priced at $998 per person and includes a welcome drink.
