Recently ranked #18 by TripAdvisor out of 8,128 restaurants in Hong Kong, DiVino Patio in Wanchai now offers a four-course wine-paired Discovery Dinner menu that will whisk you away on a discovery of Italian flavours every evening from 6–10pm until 29 July 2017.


To start, diners are offered a choice between an exquisite layered tuna and avocado tartare and a delightful caprese salad made with buffalo mozzarella, plum tomatoes, fresh basil and oregano, to be paired with a glass of Villa Sandi Prosecco DOC NV. The dry, fruity Prosecco coupled with one of the refreshing appetisers will surely tickle your taste buds and whet your appetite for the courses to follow.

The next course is a fixed pasta dish: handmade pappardelle with porcini, Chianti and Tuscany sausage ragout, paired with a glass of Chianti Ridolfi 2015.


The main course comes next, with diners offered a choice between four sumptuous dishes. Fish lovers will be pleased to know there is salmon steak with French beans, mache salad and spicy mango salsa on the menu. There is also Italian roasted cockerel with herb seasoning, French fries and garden salad.

For diners who want something a little more special, the menu offers gluten-free artisanal IGP porchetta 1917 from Ariccia, served with potato purée and Roman-Jewish fried artichokes. Ariccia, in the province of Rome, is the town most closely associated with porchetta, so this dish will take you back in time for a taste of one of Italy’s most traditional foods. For an additional $98, you can upgrade your main course to a 10-ounce St Helen sliced strip loin served with wild rocket, Parmesan shavings and sun-dried tomatoes. A glass of Vermentino Agricola Eccelsa 2015 or Cannonau Agricola Eccelsa 2015 will be offered depending on the choice of main course.


Lastly, the dessert will be tiramisu, the classic mascarpone cream with ladyfingers soaked in espresso, served with a glass of Gocce di Passito Agricola Eccelsa 2013.
