Pop-ups are all the rage, and we’re excited about the Four Seasons Hotel’s latest featuring hunky Chef Lam Ming Kin, one of the rising stars of the Taiwan food scene.
From 19–23 September 2017, The Lounge menu will showcase Asian-inspired dishes using traditional French techniques accumulated from Chef Kin’s years of experience at top kitchens around the world, including Vong at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, Apicius and Guy Savoy’s Le Chiberta in Paris and Jean-Georges in New York.
The chef now owns and operates two restaurants in Taipei: a hip brasserie called ChouChou and a modern restaurant called Longtail. We can’t wait to dig into the HK pop-up menu, which includes dishes ranging from seared abalone with ”three cup” sauce to whole roasted duck with spiced orange glaze. The chef, as we’ve already mentioned, is also pretty easy on the eyes.
