All-you-can-eat mussels at FRITES

Kick off work early and head to Belgian beerhouse FRITES from 5pm on Mondays and flex those mussels. At $195 per person, you can dive head first into Kinkawooka mussels freshly imported from Australia, served with frites and bread. There are six different mussel flavours to devour, including house, Hoegaarden, provençale, marinière, laksa and Mediterranean.

All-you-can-eat BBQ ribs at Stone Nullah Tavern

No Monday can be blue when there are ribs ahead of you. Starting from 6pm on Mondays (and Tuesdays, for good measure), unlimited maple-glazed BBQ ribs dished up by Chef Vinny Lauria will sing to your soul and call you at to Stone Nullah Tavern. For $219 per person, feast on ribs served with sides of gorgonzola coleslaw and pickles. Add an extra $99 for free-flow PBR beer and house wines.

The Regional Series at 208 Duecento Otto

Transport your taste buds to regional Italy for a four-course dinner every Monday at 208 Duecento Otto. For $398 per person, including wine parings ($298 without), you’ll dive into the ingredients and dishes that define the unique culinary culture across Italy. Each month showcases a different region. In September, travel to Sicily with a menu filled with tuna carpaccio, sea urchin spaghetti, deep-crust seafood pizza and cannoli prepared by Chef Michael Bolam and sommelier Mike Watt.

The burger bar’s Double Trouble offer on Mondays from 6pm onwards entitles diners to buy-one-get-one-free hamburgers. We usually go all out and opt for the bacon cheese patty topped with Wicks Manor English bacon, raclette and caramelised onions – calories be damned.
