Named after the Cantonese phrase for “bottoms up”, Yum Sing Bar (located in the former Lee Gardens Hotel in Causeway Bay) was once a hotspot for Hong Kong clubheads from the ‘70s to ‘90s. While the bar is long gone, it has no doubt continued to live on in the memories of the generations who drank and danced their way through its doors.

Whether you’re nostalgic or nostalgia curious, you’ll be pleased to know that Hysan Development Company has brought the iconic nightspot back to life in the Yum Sing Bar’s Homecoming pop-up installation in celebration of Lee Garden One’s 20th anniversary.

Besides featuring live music performances, the pop-up also recreates Yum Sing Bar’s English-clubhouse-style decor and serves a full bar menu including classic cocktails remade from the original bar’s offerings. Signature concoctions include Lee Gardens Special ($68), a light and refreshing gin-based cocktail, and, if you’re looking for something stronger – The Peak ($80), a bourbon float. Bottoms up!
