Improve your way of thinking, working and living while doing more good in the world – this is the mission of Singapore-based initiative Green is the New Black.
Vendors at the The Conscious Festival in Singapore
In partnership with Ocean Recovery Alliance, the festival has two new components exclusive to Hong Kong: the Unconference and screenings.
As the official media partner for this exciting festival, we highly recommend our Foodie Clubbers to join this important inaugural event. We’re always super psyched and supportive for such sustainable movements, having planned the first-ever Food’s Future Summit in Hong Kong last year!
The festival is designed for guests to laugh, learn, discover and connect through three conscious themes: mind, earth and consumption. On this voyage towards consciousness, you will be given all the information you need to take small green steps to live more consciously.
What’s happening at the festival
Friday, 20 April: Unconference
A one-day experience, the Unconference aims to bring together corporates, professionals, entrepreneurs, designers and anyone who is interested in bringing a better and greener future to their business. Get ready to dive into different themes focusing on how to make your business more circular and network with like-minded professionals.
Circular thinking is recognising that our waste is a resource and that it can be put back into the system. Yep, we’re talking about sustainability on steroids and new ways of thinking.
Saturday, 21 April and Sunday, 22 April: the festival
- Talks: transformative sessions that will empower you to change your life. Expect inspiring tips, engaging workshops, wellness breaks and action kits.
- Marketplace (free entry): a place where fun and social environmental responsibility go hand in hand, with a market showcasing over 70 conscious brands featuring fashion, lifestyle and beauty products that protect people and our beloved planet.
- Screenings: take a seat and travel on a collective journey towards protecting the environment in Hong Kong and beyond through thought-provoking films and conversations.
