Japanese celebrity chef Aoki Toshikatsu, of renowned Ginza SUSHI AOKI in Tokyo, will be making a guest appearance in Hong Kong next week.

Image titleThe second-generation chef-owner will be showcasing his deep knowledge of Edomae-style sushi and the meticulous techniques behind it. After training under Jiro Ono (often hailed as the greatest sushi chef in the world), Chef Aoki took over from his father at Ginza SUSHI AOKI at just 29 years old and has since gone on to be featured on several national cooking shows. 

Now Hong Kong gets a taste of Chef Aoki’s craft while he hosts lunch and dinner from 19–21 April 2018 at FUMI, LKF’s new restaurant themed around celebrating Japanese culture. Dishes will be prepared tableside by Chef Aoki and each diner will get the chance to observe and chat with the famed chef. Image title

The lunch menu is priced at $1,380, with the more elaborate dinner menu priced at $2,550. The menus include both traditional Edomae-style sushi as well as modern interpretations that showcase how sushi has evolved over time.
