Conrad Hong Kong – Love of Pink Afternoon Tea by Lobby Lounge

This decidedly feminine afternoon tea at Conrad Hong Kong is in support of HK Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution fundraising campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and newly appointed Pastry Chef Ason Kan has whipped up a delightful selection of sweet and savoury treats in different shades of pink. There’s foie gras mousse with strawberry, marinated crab with watermelon, beetroot-cured salmon with horseradish cream, raspberry eclair, lychee-raspberry-rose mousse cake, white chocolate and red berry verrine tastes and more. Amongst the drink options, the special drink Pink Lady – a mix of rose syrup, salted plum, coconut water and soda – is recommended.

The Hari – Jackson Box Tea Set by The Lounge x Jackson’s Scone

The Hari, a relative newcomer to the HK luxury hotel scene, has debuted a supremely elevated afternoon tea experience in collaboration with local bakery Jackson’s Scone – the ideal teatime union – with plenty of sweet and savoury contenders. The sweet bites includes scones in both classic flavour and Jackson’s yuzu-flavoured collab with The Hari, blueberry cheesecake, cannoli with pistachio and Amalfi lemon and the hotel’s signature tiramisu. On the savoury side, there’s a generous selection of finger sandwiches, black truffle and ham calzone and Japanese egg-yolk mousse topped with smoked herring caviar to keep diners happy. Free-flow detox water and coffee or tea are part of this elegant deal.

Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour – Florals for Fall Afternoon Tea by The Farmhouse x PAUL & JOE (with pool access!)

Take advantage of the balmy HK weather this autumn (when there’s no T8 or black rainstorm, that is) to indulge in afternoon tea preceded by a dip in the gorgeous rooftop infinity pool at Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour. This new collab with PAUL & JOE showcases a delightful assortment of savoury and sweet treats that playfully incorporate the French beauty brand’s distinctive floral and feline motifs. Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui – Fall in Monochrome Autumn Afternoon Tea by Cafe x RMK

The Hyatt Regency TST has taken inspiration from Japanese makeup brand RMK’s latest Love Monochrome collection to offer this afternoon tea featuring dainty bites made with seasonal ingredients in autumnal earth tones. Pumpkin cheesecake, matcha-honey profiterole and scones accented with red wine and fig are amongst the sweet treats, while tuna and salmon ceviche and duck rillettes in sesame cone entice on the savoury side. To drink, take your pick between a pumpkin martini or salted caramel espresso for some real fall feels.

Kowloon Shangri-La – Floral Moments Afternoon Tea & Weekend Afternoon Tea Buffet

The latest co-branded afternoon tea at Kowloon Shangri-La sees the hotel joining hands with Yves Rocher in celebration of the French beauty expert’s anti-ageing products. The weekday afternoon tea experience showcases a selection of savoury bites (think fish maw and crab tartare in yuzu dressing and smoked duck with pickle in matcha pancake) alongside an array of East-meets-West sweets crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Dhilmin Silva and team (we love the sounds of the fusion matchamisu and jasmine tea Paris-Brest). The tea set also comes with an assortment of scones in autumnal flavours (plain and orange, walnut and maple) and a deluxe fruit platter.
If you’re enjoying tea at the weekend, the Yves Rocher collaborative items are complemented by a lavish teatime buffet that includes a selection of sushi, shrimp and mango cocktail served in martini glasses, mini cheeseburgers and a host of desserts kicked up with mango and chocolate.

The Peninsula – All Things British Afternoon Tea on the Harbour

This past spring and summer, The Peninsula’s exclusive collaboration with the Star Ferry allowed guests to enjoy the five-star hotel’s signature Afternoon Tea on the Harbour for the first time. Owing to the overwhelming popularity of the experience, The Peninsula – which is marking its incredible 95th anniversary this year – is bringing back its on-the-water dining journeys, expanded to encompass all-new afternoon tea experiences. This autumn, in honour of the latest addition to The Peninsula Hotels portfolio – The Peninsula London – guests can relish in this British-inspired afternoon tea set that pays homage to the afternoon ritual’s country of origin with a menu where finger sarnies, warm teacakes and scones with clotted cream and jam are the stars. The live music has also been upgraded to include a more, shall we say, modern playlist.

The Ritz-Carlton – Hwanyu Afternoon Tea by Café 103 x The history of Whoo

Premium Korean skincare brand The history of Whoo is the focus of this refined afternoon tea experience at The Ritz-Carlton’s sky-high Café 103. In particular, the tea set celebrates the brand’s newly unveiled fourth-generation Hwanyu series, which has been designed to fully activate the healing properties of 30-year-old ginseng. The culinary team have carefully crafted a series of Korean-inspired teatime treats with purple hues and touches of gold to match the brand’s identity. For savoury bites, the grilled chicken breast with honey and wolfberry cream cheese and ginseng gelée mini bun is inspired by traditional Korean ginseng chicken soup, while on the sweet side, the wolfberry cheesecake is luxuriously decorated with a chocolate plate made of The history of Whoo’s logo.

The Royal Garden – Hydro Refresh Afternoon Tea by J’s Bar Bistro x LANEIGE

This partnership with LANEIGE at J’s Bar Bistro is inspired by the Korean beauty brand’s Water Bank collection, with the sweets – like panna cotta with butterfly-pea flower jelly, yuzu mousse cake and flower raindrop cake – taking on pretty shades of bright blue to mimic the Water Bank packaging. On the savoury side, the creative eats include prawn and tomato bruschetta with guacamole, smoked salmon parcel with pear and celeriac salad and mini Wagyu burger with kimchi slaw. Also included are The Royal Garden’s signature butterfly cookies (this time laced with blue-coloured chocolate), homemade scones and a refreshing mocktail dubbed Blue Blossom.

Good-for-the-skin ingredients, including green apple, lemon, grapefruit, avocado and fig, have been incorporated into this antioxidant-rich tea set at Sky Lounge, a partnership with US medical aesthetic skincare brand SkinCeuticals. Fruity sweet bites such as lemon-mint meringue, apple-pie choux and Earl Grey panna cotta are paired with savouries including apple-feta sandwich, avocado panini with Gruyère and crostini with Parma ham and fig for a delectable teatime experience.
