We’re all in this COVID-19 craziness together, and we need to help each other when we can.

Global ride-hailing company Uber is doing its share through the newly launched initiative Move What Matters – making a commitment to providing 10 million rides and food deliveries around the world.

Here in Hong Kong, this will take the form of 44,000 free meals to Hospital Authority (HA) workers who are at the front lines fighting the virus at seven acute hospitals. The meals are being generously provided by more than 6,400 registered restaurant partners on the Uber platform.

In addition, Uber is offering 10,000 free rides to NGOs who serve senior citizens, the disabled and others in need of safe transport to work, medical visits and other essential appointments.

If you work at an NGO and want to be a part of the scheme, email hkcommunity@uber.com or click here to register.
