High Time for Pie Time

In partnership with Tai Tai Pie Pies

There is little more blissful than entering a room filled with the aromatic, cinnamon-tinted scent of a warm pumpkin pie filling the air. Thankfully, the season where pies come into the spotlight is upon us. Although for us, pies are a year-round affair, autumn really brings with it a hankering for a big wedge off a round pie, whether it be creamy, fruity, nutty or savoury.

American Thanksgiving is associated with traditions that are themselves something to be grateful for. We’re talking warm apple pie à la mode, pumpkin pie with a big dollop of whipped cream, pecan pie with a cup of chicory coffee on the side or a beautifully latticed cherry pie. We’ve still got another nine pies off the top of our head that we could easily list, not to mention the cakes and cheesecakes that then float into our mind as we daydream down the rabbit hole of dessert possibilities.

Dreaming of apple pie…

Any pie you can dream up is possible from our favourite pie maker, RJ Asher of Tai Tai Pie Pies. RJ has been baking pies for almost 10 years here in Hong Kong, using only the finest ingredients. Whichever flavour you’re craving, from sweet to savoury, Tai Tai Pie Pies has you covered.

A perfect pumpkin pie

The Pumpkin & Spice Pie is an all-time holiday favourite with its buttery, cinnamon-laced crust. The large size ($225) feeds 6–8 people, and the extra large ($385) feeds 8–12.

If you’re having a party, Tai Tai Pie Pies also offers awesome bite-sized and individual-sized pies that you can eat with just one hand while mingling.

Christmas pies and cakes are also available for advance ordering, if you’re the forward-thinking sort.
