Sake Central Says Kanpai to Love

We really admire sake specialist Sake Central’s new Kanpai to Love initiative, with 100% of the profits from select sake purchases going towards providing meals and COVID-19 testing for those in the hospitality industry.

An anonymous WhatsApp and email hotline will be set up on 1 January and circulated throughout the hospitality industry. Restaurant, bar and hotel workers will be able to claim either $250 meal vouchers to use on Deliveroo or a private, instant COVID test courtesy of LifeHub.

All the sake bottles available for purchase through Kanpai to Love are the Sake Central team’s favourites, with some available in Hong Kong for the first time.

The Kanpai to Love campaign will run until 21 January 2021 – which is also the same day that Sake Central co-founder Elliot Faber will marry his fiancée, Tiffany, with a special sunset kanpai on Zoom no less. Kanpai to love indeed and what a hopeful way to end a very difficult year!
