Join the Party at SEVVA’s Holiday Cheers

Ever since its opening in 2008 by author, entrepreneur and bon vivant Bonnae Gokson, SEVVA, which translates to “selfless service” in Sanskrit, has impressed guests with its whimsical food menus, cocktails and cakes. Perched on the penthouse floor of Prince’s Building in the heart of Central, SEVVA’s massive terrace offers panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong’s dazzling skyscrapers.

Extending the holiday cheer until 4 March 2022, SEVVA now plays host to live performances on the terrace, complete with festive nibbles, BBQ stations and inventive cocktails, capitalising on the cool, dry HK winter nights.

From 5–8pm every Thursday and Friday, this month guests can sway to live performances by renowned American singer and songwriter Jamal Corrie (he appeared on US TV series The Voice in 2020) while sampling unlimited BBQ ($800/person), including grilled baby-back ribs, spring lamb chops, mixed satay and butter-roasted king prawns. One complimentary glass of bubbly is also included.

There are also plenty of bar bites – caramelised onion and minced beef croquettes, salt-and-pepper calamari and lamb samosas, just to name a few. Festive cocktails like eggnog and poire double-boil, a house-made pear broth served hot with a generous splash of vodka, alongside banana-split cake and roasted chestnuts are there to fill up any leftover space.

25/F, Prince’s Building, 10 Chater Road, Central, 2537 1388, reservations@sevva.hk
