Are you ready for 2019’s Food’s Future Summit?

Alongside an incredible line-up of speakers, a groundbreaking Innovation Showcase and many of Asia’s firsts, the Summit will also feature some truly delicious food. And good news – all tickets (including single Saturday tickets) include coffee, breakfast, lunch and future-friendly snacks!

To see what we’ll be eating on Day 1, read our article. To learn what we’ll be eating on Day 2, just read on…

But first… coffee

Redback Coffee

Redback Coffee

We know that, for many, the day does not begin until that first cup of coffee has been sipped. That’s why we’ve partnered with a true coffee expert to make sure you get the morning (and mid-morning and afternoon) pick-me-up you deserve! Redback Coffee has made it its mission to personalise and perfect the art of coffee making. Even if you don’t know the name, you’ll certainly know Redback’s coffee. It has supplied some of HK’s most popular cafés such as Blend & Grind and Fineprint (Foodie Forks 2019 Editors’ Choice Best Café winner), so you’re certainly in good hands!

Minor Figures oat milk

Minor Figures oat milkRedback Coffee uses Minor Figures oat milk as a tasty dairy alternative. Made in the UK, Minor Figures specifically creates its oat milk with baristas in mind, ensuring that beautiful frothy finish we all love. You can rest assured that’s there no dairy or added sugar in this milk substitute, and it’s 100% vegan friendly.

Breakfast

Classified

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and that is especially true at the weekend. That’s why, for Saturday at the Summit, we’ve brought in breakfast and brunch specialist Classified. This café chain sure knows how to serve up mean breakfast foods, and they’ll be serving up pancakes – the king of of breakfast foods – until 12pm! Indulge in Classified’s ultra-fluffy pancakes for a sweet start to your Saturday.

For those with dietary requirements that restrict them from pancake eating, we’ll also have fresh fruit for a healthy sugar kick.

Lunch

Beef & Liberty

For lunch, we’ve partnered with beefy burger legend Beef & Liberty and its plant-based sister brand, Leaves & Liberty. They’ll be bringing you a selection of expertly crafted sliders with delicious vegan and vegetarian options. Group Development Chef Neil Tomes will also be speaking about the Liberty brand’s sustainable efforts and what restaurants can do to reduce their carbon footprint at the Reducing our Carbon Foodprint Post-Plastic Straws panel. Talk about food for thought!

Afternoon break

Schragels

Schragels Hong Kong

We just can’t get enough of Schragels bagels, and that’s why they’re back for Day 2 – but this time with a twist. To reduce waste, day-old bagels are turned into Schragels Schrackers – crisp bagel chips perfect for dipping in Schragels’ delectable homemade cream cheese. Sounds like an ideal afternoon schnack!

Wine reception

Wines of Germany

Wines of Germany

To end the Summit and toast to the future of food we continue to strive towards, enjoy a glass of German wine. You’ll all be familiar with Riesling – Germany’s most popular grape – and we’ll also be serving a selection of other varietals thanks to our friends at Wines of Germany. Prost!
