Phone Food

Phone Food

Why have real food when you can have real-looking fake food glued to your phone?

As a food lover, I love everything food-themed. And apparently, there are phone cases made for people like me - phone cases that mimic food and can be carried around as a constant reminder of your love of food. Originally made for those glossy sample foods you see encased in glass outside of restaurants, these ornaments are repurposed to be (sur)real-looking components to these food phone cases, and the result is glorious. Today, I bring to you to best of the best.

Couple cases: lovebirds, show the world your love for each other, and for food, with this phone case pair. Instead of forming a heart when joined together, they form a whole egg-on-toast. Aww.

Pizza: need I say more?

Nom nom: this phone case, which sports a row of gyoza as decoration, is made with amazing attention to detail. The fact that I can't eat it makes me a little sad.

The key to success: this case, cheekily named iFan, is advertised to be representative of 'capable men'.

A whole platter of sushi: way better than just one piece of sushi.

Keeping it simple: Nothing beats a slowly-cooking raw egg atop a bowl of steaming rice. Show your allegiance with this phone case.

With an anthropomorphic twist: yes, raw egg on rice, but raw egg with a face on rice.

Something smells fishy: can't cook? Pretend you can by showing off this grilled saury phone case to your friends. They will be impressed.

Street food: the food featured on this phone case is oden, a popular Japanese street food. Fishball phone cases are close to becoming a reality.

Saving the best for the last: this case is a gem. These people sure love spring onion!
